Good principles. I just wanted a piece of what Lombardi has to offer in success. This “book” is very small. Not that many pages at all. I thought it was a big book but a very quick read. Maybe I didn’t read the description well enough. Just FYI it’s a very quick read.

Found this to be a good review of the Vince Lombardi work principles. Simple but common sense. And probably more of how a leader lives their lives than a road map on how to transform your organization. A good job and a good read.

A great teaching aid. As a leadership instructor for International military students, most of my students have no idea who Coach Lombardi was, as to them football means soccer. The methods outlined in this booklet are very valuable in teaching them basic leadership skills and my students are always very impressed with his life story. Easy to read and understand. Marine style booklet, No BS and right to the point guidance. Well worth the cost.

I am a huge sports fan and parents bought this for me for my birthday. Great story even for those that are not sport fans and just want to take in wisdom on life. This book should be on everyone's book case for those who just want to succeed better in life. Great for people in leadership positions and or people that will be in leadership positions in the future.

Not exactly the book I expected

This book broke down a lot of the Lombardi principles. I read this as a companion to When Pride Still Mattered. I highly recommend that you read this book with When Pride Still Mattered.

WARREN MURPHY was born in Jersey City, where he worked in journalism and politics until launching the Destroyer series with Richard Sapir in 1971. A screenwriter (Lethal Weapon II, The Eiger Sanction) as well as a novelist, Murphy’s work has won a dozen national awards, including multiple Edgars and Shamuses. He has lectured at many colleges and universities, and is currently offering writing lessons at his website, WarrenMurphy.com. A Korean War veteran, some of Murphy’s hobbies include golf, mathematics, opera, and investing. He has served on the board of the Mystery Writers of America, and has been a member of the Screenwriters Guild, the Private Eye Writers of America, the International Association of Crime Writers, and the American Crime Writers League.
